Shoes
Ok, so can someone tell me when Dalton decided he was too cool for shoes? It doesn't seem to matter how cold his feet are anymore, the kid won't keep his shoes on.
At least I know his feet are tough--like his Daddy's.
The first of May is BAREFOOT DAY! Elka's Grandpa Moore tells the story: One April day, it was too nice to leave their shoes on at recess, so they took them off. Their Mother normally stayed at home, but this day she happened out and caught them. The next day they had to walk the two miles to school barefoot--even though there was frost on the ground. After that, they always remembered, "The first of May is Barefoot Day!"
